ONE CUP, ONE COMMUNITY, ONE CHAMPION: DRY HARBOUR SUPER CUP FINAL SET FOR OCTOBER 18

DISCOVERY BAY, St. Ann — After two months of community football featuring 16 teams, the Dry Harbour Super Cup will crown its inaugural champion this Sunday, October 18, at the Discovery Bay Community Centre. The evening’s action begins at 6:30 p.m. with the third-place playoff between 876 Strikers and KKDS, followed by the championship final at 8:30 p.m. between Invaders FC and Team Unstoppable FC. Invaders advanced with a 2-0 semi-final victory over KKDS, while Team Unstoppable secured their place in the final with a hard-fought 1-0 win 876 Strikers. What started on August 16 with 16 teams from across St. Ann and an entrant from Trelawny — kicking off with a Back-to-School Treat by the organizers — has been more than a game, it's a movement. Now, only four remain. Fans can also look forward to live performances by Little Hero, Byg Dreamz and Mr Stones, with music by Bass Odyssey Sound System, alongside food, drinks and family entertainment. The tournament is supported by a strong network of local businesses, community partners and individual contributors, including Discovery Bauxite, M&M Modern Sewer & Drain Service, Red Stripe, and other sponsors whose support has helped bring the competition to life.
